Ingredients
2lbsFresh green beans
2TbspUnsalted butter
2clovesMinced garlic
2tspApple cider vinegar
½cupLight brown sugar, packed
½cupSliced almonds
Fine sea salt
Instructions
Thoroughly wash your green beans, if you are using fresh. Then, cut or snap the ends off of them.
Fill a medium pot with water and bring to a boil. Add 2 lbs Fresh green beans, and boil them until tender, about 6-8 minutes.
Drain the beans and set aside.
Turn the heat down to medium-low. In the same pot, add 2 Tbsp Unsalted butter. Once the butter is melted, add 2 cloves Minced garlic, minced. Cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
Add 2 tsp Apple cider vinegarand ½ cup Light brown sugar, packed. Stir until the sugar is melted and everything is combined.
Add the green beans back to the pot and toss to combine.
Add ½ cup Sliced almonds and combine. Taste, and season with Fine sea salt, if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!
Storage
Keep leftovers in an air-tight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Freezing is not recommended as the beans can get mushy when thawed.
